Just a short update on our whereabouts this year.

At the moment, Paul is completing a commercial diving ticket in Tasmania. He will finish at the end of June and will then return to Adelaide.

It's unknown at the moment how soon we will return to collecting Scallops and Sea Urchins, but we will be continuing to run the license when the season comes in (even if Paul is not the diver).

Our plan is to continue to supply some of Adelaide's top restaurants and also a Farmers Market.

I will keep you informed!

Ok, we are back in business doing markets and restaurants again. Come say hi to Paul at the Willunga Farmers Market (Saturdays - on Meat Street) and Adelaide Showgrounds Farmers Market (Sundays - outside). Check out the cookup of scallops and have a sample!

The stocks in Kangaroo Island seem to have replenished well enough for us, so that is GOOD NEWS! It's so hard to keep track of them as they like to move around, especially after bad weather. Paul does still have to spend some time searching for new areas which can be quite time consu

No Sea Urchins as yet, but we're nearing their season shortly.

It's good to be back!

Hi All!

Well, we are back in Kangaroo Island after Port Lincoln and Yorke Peninsula being somewhat of a disappointment.

Stocks were far too depleted to take commercially. We’re just hoping that the deep water stock will be enough to restore itself over time!

Today was Paul’s first dive in his favourite KI spot and sure enough, there they were!
The temperature is still too warm however. While the scallops are there, the meats are not big enough yet.

We are expecting the temperature to drop below 18 degrees in the next 2-3 weeks (it has been later in the year than expected), and that should be the green light.

I will let you know!
